Aloha Technical Celebrates it’s One Year Anniversary

September 09, 2007

The event was held at the Ko’olau Golf Club set against the beautiful Ko’olau mountain range on the windward side of O’ahu. The evening started off with drinks, pupus (hors doeuvres) and conversation as the guests started rolling in. The formal call to order began with the trumpeting of the conch shell and a Hawai’ian chant performed by brother and sister Bear (conch) and Nai’a (chant) Aguirre. Both of who received warm rounds of applause when finished.

Dinner was followed by a speech by Vice President Ross Battaglia in which he thanked the staff and their spouses and families for their help and support moving into Aloha’s office space. Their help in assembling office furniture and running the network cabling was key in getting the office operational. Ross also gave a heartfelt thanks to Aloha’s customers to whom Aloha Technical’s success is really owed to. After the speech the staff of Aloha was presented with a check representing the sales performed over its first year.

The highlight of the evening was the entertainment performed the Tahitian dance troop MANUTAHI under the direction of Pola Teriipaia. The skill of the dancers held the audience captive and the audience “participation” portion in which some of the dancers pulled members of the audience (including Ross) up to dance with them was definitely enjoyed by all, perhaps most by the guests pulled onstage.

Some of the companies in attendance were: Honolulu Advertiser, Central Pacific Bank, First Insurance Company of Hawaii and Oceanic Cable. Aloha Technical Solutions would like to extend it heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended in making not only the party, but our first year enjoyable.
