Aloha Technical Solutions’ first annual “Christmas Overseas” was held in exciting Las Vegas, Nevada. The office abounded with small talk in the days before departure about people, places and things planned. Jackie was talking about shopping; Mike, Mark and Damon were talking about snowboarding and gambling; and Ross was talking about…WORK?!!!! 

We had a red-eye flight to Vegas so most of us slept the whole way there. We arrived at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino too early to check in so we had breakfast and talked some more about our plans. After breakfast we checked in to our rooms and showered, relaxed and prepared for the days ahead which would be filled with sightseeing, shopping, gambling and seeing shows.

Sunday morning everyone met in the hotel lobby for pictures and then a shuttle to the airport for the trip home. Ross’ idea behind the trip was to put the staff in a place where work would be the farthest thing from their minds so they could have fun and relax. Mission accomplished! Here’s to the best boss one could hope for!
